MedVentures provides the physicians with effective technologies and equipment for a professional chronic wound therapy and pain therapy. The company's flagship products are personalised, third-generation hydrogel dressings that remain active during wound healing and support the therapy of the accompanying pain.
We believe that scientific research cannot be a goal in itself. Findings should be reflected in the reality around us and improve the quality of life of future generations. We are a group of scientists, including biotechnologists, molecular biologists and geneticists who have decided to use their knowledge and experience gained in the universities and R&D units in the biotechnology industry in the USA and Poland for the treatment of chronic wounds that are difficult to heal and in the therapy for the accompanying pain.
We started at the Nickel Incubator as the first spin-off company. The unique, partnership-based and win-win approach of the YouNick technology park towards our company allows us to successfully overcome subsequent stages of the difficult and demanding process of commercializing medical products.
We research, develop, register and market modern, bioactive hydgrogel wound dressings. We believe that they will become the future of personalized medicine. Our medical products may be used in clinics, hospitals, private practices and procedural rooms, wherever patients are suffering from pressure ulcers, postoperative wound and extensive burns. Our innovative connection of hydrogel with problems such as the isolated fraction of plasma with a high content of platelets will certainly increase their treatment comfort and further recovery.
Using the results of our own research, we would like to provide physicians with professional technologies and devices that would increase the efficiency of treating chronic wounds. In the longer term, we are planning to start a Wound Treatment Center in Poland - a network of out-patient clinics, where patients will be provided with daily and easily accessible assistance in the treatment of chronic diseases.
